Jack Plaga enters his first season as an assistant coach for the USC men, and also is serving as director of operations for the USC women. Plaga was a member of three NCAA Championship teams as a Trojan, on-hand for the 2010 title run and helping USC win the 2011 title as a redshirt freshman before claiming another ring with the Trojans in 2012 during the program’s run of six straight crowns. Plaga’s parents, aunts and uncles also are USC alumni.
A 2014 graduate of USC, Plaga received a degree in philosophy, politics and law. Since graduating, Plaga has been coaching at Trojan Water Polo Club and also was an assistant coach at Loyola High School.
A native of La Cañada, Calif., Plaga attended Loyola High, where he was an All-CIF and all-league honoree and back-to-back league champion.
