INDIANA: Miljenic earned All-Big Ten second team honors as a freshman at Indiana, helping the Hoosiers to second in the 200y free relay at the Big Ten Championships. He was ninth in the 50y free (19.48) at the Big Tens, 10th in the 100y fly (46.44) and 12th in the 100y free (43.28).
CROATIA: Miljenic was a member of Croatia’s junior national team and swam at the 2015 FINA Junior World Championships and the 2016 LEN European Junior Championships … He holds the national record for the 50m free.
CLUB: Medvešcak Zagreb
Personal: Miljenic was born May 19, 1998 in Zagreb, Croatia to parents Orsat and Morana Reberski Miljenic. After earning his degree in international relations (global business), he is now pursuing a Master's in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He speaks four languages, English, Croatian, French and Serbian.
MILJENICS' PERSONAL RECORDS:
- At NCAA’s, finished 25th in the 100-yard Freestyle (42.26), 27th in the 100-yard Butterfly (45.56) and 32nd in the 50-yard Freestyle (19.44)
- Miljenic helped propel the Trojan relays at the NCAA Championship, as they claimed 15th in the 400-yard Freestyle Relay (3:04.56), 19th in the 200-yard Medley Relay (1:23.77) and 19th in the 200-yard Freestyle Relay (1:16.90)
- At the Pac-12’s, Miljenic scored twice, finishing ninth in the 100-yard Butterfly (46.63/46.02), 12th in the 100-yard Freestyle (43.15/42.82) and 20th in the 50-yard Freestyle (19.78/19.81). Also swam on USC’s 200-yard Medley relay (4th,1:23.76), 400-yard Medley relay (4th, 3:05.69), 400-yard Free Relay (4th, 3:05.69) and 200-yard Freestyle Relay (5th, 1:17.37)
2021:
- Three-time finalist at Pac-12’s and swam in three races at NCAA’s … At the 2021 NCAA Championships, Miljenic touched 14th in the 100y fly (45.63), 29th in the 50y free (19.54) and 37th in the 100y free (43.22). He also appeared in USC’s 400y free relay that finished 18th at NCAA’s.
- At Pac-12’s, Miljenic scored three times, finishing second in the 100y fly (45.59 / 45.33), fourth in the 100y free (42.74 / 42.84) and fifth in the 50y free (19.47 / 19.60). He also contributed to USC’s 400y free relay that finished third (2:51.35).
- Won both the 50y free (19.94) and the 100y free (43.28) against Utah (Feb. 12-13).
- CSCAA All-American Second Team honors (100 fly) … Men’s swimming team captain.
- Miljenic represented Croatia at the 2020 Tokyo Games, making his Olympic debut in the men’s 50m free, 100m free and 100m fly. He tied for 19th in the 50m free (22.14), was 28th in the 100m free (49.25) and 40th in the 100m fly (52.68).
2020:
- Two-time finalist at Pac-12s, taking fifth in the 50y free (19.48) and sixth in the 100y fly (46.16). He was also ninth in the 100y free (43.09).
- At the Art Adamson Invite, he finished second in both the 50y (19.64) and the 100y free (43.24), securing two NCAA B-cuts.
2019:
- Earned a pair of All-American honors as part of USC’s 200y and 400y medley relays that finished eighth and sixth, respectively, and helped Troy score in the 200y free relay as well (14th).
- At the NCAAs, he was 29th in the 50y free (19.45) and 33rd in the 100y free (43.03).
- He was a two-time finalist at his first Pac-12 meet, taking fourth in the 50y free (19.35) and sixth in the 100y free (42.80, PR 42.56 in prelims). He was also 10th in the 100y fly (46.48).
- At the Texas Invitational, he touched second in the 50y free (19.36) and fourth in the 100y free (42.91).
- Represented Croatia at the 2019 FINA World Championships, finishing 35th in the 50m fly.
- He raced at the 2019 Canadian Swimming Trials and posted top 12 finishes in the 50m and 100m free and the 50m fly.
