2026: Johnson returns healthy and looks to compete for playing time at cornerback as a redshirt sophomore in 2026.
2025: Johnson, who transferred from UCF to USC in the summer of 2025, saw action in 2 games (Georgia Southern and Purdue) at cornerback as a sophomore in 2025. He suffered a season ending injury against Purdue that sidelined him for the remainder of the season. He recorded 1 tackle against Georgia Southern.
UCF: Johnson saw action in 12 games with 4 starts as a true freshman in 2024. He recorded 18 tackles
and 2 PBUs.
HIGH SCHOOL: Johnson, a three-star recruit, was rated as the No. 123 player in the state of Florida by 247Sports, No. 144 by ESPN and No 155 by On3. He was touted as the No. 86 cornerback in the nation by 247Sports, No. 108 by ESPN and No. 164 by On3.
As a senior in 2023, he recorded 18 tackles, 4 PBUs and 1 fumble recovery while helping Seminole to a 10-3 record and the 2023 Florida 3M playoffs.
As a junior in 2022, he made the transition from wide receiver to cornerback. Johnson was impactful on special teams and blocked multiple kicks and punts. Seminole went 9-3 and earned placement in the Florida 3M playoffs.
He missed most of his sophomore season in 2021 due to injury.
Johnson also ran track and was part of a 4x400 team that won the regional title and took second at the Florida 4A State Meet. He also competed in the 100m where he posted a 11.31 time in 2022.
PERSONAL: He is majoring in African American Studies at USC.
