At USC:
Sydney Tullai (Two-lye) is in her final season as a cross country runner for USC. 2019: She opened her season with a time of 20:29.1 at the Master's XC Invitational on Sept. 28. Posted a 6K PR of 23:21.6 at the Highlander Invitational on Oct. 19. She was one of seven runners to represent USC at the Pac-12 Championships in Oregon on Nov. 1 and had a time of 24:34.6.   2018: Tullai was limited to two races during the 2018 cross country season. She opened up at the UC Riverside 6K race, but had a respiratory issue and could not finish. She came back to run at the Master’s XC Invitational 5K race on Sept. 29 and posted a time of 20:50.1. 2017: Tullai competed in four races for the Trojans as a freshman. She opened her Trojan career by placing 27th with a time of 16:43.0 at the 4K Pepperdine Invitational on Sept. 1. She represented USC at the Pac-12 Championships on Oct. 27 and had a then 6K PR of 24.12.4 to place 106th.
High School:
Tullai is a 2016 graduate of Ayala High in Chino Hills, Calif.  She was the cross country and track captain in 2015 and 2016, a four-time League MVP for cross country and track, an eight-time league champion for cross country and track. She has a best three-mile time of 17:12 and best 5K cross country time of 18:12.0. In track she has an 800m best of 2:14.13 and 4:41 in the 1500m. She graduated as a Distinguished Scholar with a 4.15 GPA, Palomares League Scholar Athlete (2 years).
Personal:
Sydney was born on February 1, 1999 in Baldwin Park, Calif...Her parents are Jason Tullai and Michele Blackwell...Her hobbies include skydiving, hiking with friends and discovering new music...Lists her favorite actors as Chris Pratt and Ryan Reynolds, favorite musical artists as BANKS and Panic at the Disco, favorite movie as the Proposal and favorite television show as Dexter...Her favorite foods include fettuccine alfredo and Doritos...Says her sports hero is Dave Wottle because of his “come from behind” race strategy that won him a gold medal in the 1972 in the 800 which has always resonated with her, proving that no matter the current circumstance, if you want something bad enough, there is always a way to achieve your goals...She is a Psychology major at USC and would like to become a psychologist and help children from broken families or those in the foster care system....She have been actively involved in the community as a Chino Hills Recreation Leader, Volunteer for Special Olympics (8 years), Small Group Youth Leader at Inland Hills Church, Started a shoe drive called DeFEET Poverty and raised over 300 pairs of shoes for those in need.
