Apoorv Gaur enters his 8th season as the assistant director of operations for USC baseball heading into the 2021 season.
Gaur, a graduate of USC, oversees the in-game video capture and track man radar system, oversees the team’s student managers, creates advanced scouting reports for in-game use, handles the ordering of equipment and assists with facility maintenance and upkeep. He has also coached youth camps at USC since 2012.
Gaur graduated from USC in 2013 with a degree in business administration and minor in psychology. While a student at USC, Gaur served as a student manager for the team from 2010-13, assisting players and coaches with the running of practice, capturing video for the staff and players to assist with coaching, and assisting with equipment issuance.
Gaur also spent the summer of 2012 working with the Bobby Valentine All-American Team, coordinating travel for the summer league team to tournaments across the country, assisting with practice planning and doing advanced scouting of opponents to formulate offensive and pitching strategies.
He currently resides in Glendora, Calif.
