While there was no MVP Award given out this year, sophomore Chimezie Metu earned three personal awards. He received the Bob Boyd Award (Top Rebounder), the Harold Jones Memorial Award (Most Improved) and the Ryan Francis Scholarship for the second straight year.
Fellow sophomore Bennie Boatwright earned the Bill Sharman Award for best free throw percentage, a statistic near and dear to head coach Andy Enfield's heart.
Boatwright's co-captain, Jordan McLaughlin, was given the Ernie Holbrook Memorial Award for Most Inspirational Player.
Senior walk-on Sam Dhillon, who owns his own wealth management firm, boasts the highest GPA on the team, earning himself the Dr. James H. Zumberge Academic Award for the fourth year in a row. He becomes the second Trojan in program history to win the award in each of his four seasons.
USC's freshmen picked up the remaining awards, as Jonah Mathews was awarded the John Rudometkin Award for 110% Effort, while De'Anthony Melton received the Forrest F. Twogood Memorial Award for Best Defensive Player.
