The Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year is the first true cornerback in USC history to be taken in the first round, and he is the program's highest drafted defensive back since Troy Polamalu in 2003 (16th overall).
Jackson is the 80th first round draft pick in USC history, the most by any school. He is the Trojans' 13th first rounder in the last 10 years.Â
"I'm ready to get down there and get to work," Jackson said to Tennessee fans after being drafted. "Let's get ready. Big things in store for us."
On offense.
