USC two-time All-American and College Football Hall of Famer Tony Boselli was named a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2017 yesterday.
Boselli, who played offensive tackle at USC from 1991-94, was the first player ever drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars, when they selected him No. 2 overall in 1995. In his seven seasons with the Jaguars, he made three All-Pro teams and five Pro Bowls.
This is Boselli's first time as a finalist, after having made the semifinals for Hall of Fame induction last season. Should Boselli make the final cut this year, he would join USC's 12 other representatives in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Only Notre Dame, with 13, has more.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2017 will be announced one month from today.
