Just like Haley Anderson, who we profiled yesterday, Ross heads to Rio 2016 with a silver medal already in her pocket from London 2012. Four years ago, Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings kept Ross and fellow Trojan Jennifer Kessy from the top of the podium, but May-Treanor has since retired and Walsh Jennings will now team up with Ross to take on the rest of the world.
Ranked as the No. 1 pair in the world, the Americans will likely have to go through the hosts, Brazil, to achieve their golden dreams. In preparation, the duo has dominated the AVP Tour, winning all three events this year, including back-to-back victories in New York and San Francisco the last two weeks. Ross has won 27 career AVP titles.
