When 6-foot-9, 350 pound USC offensive tackle Zach Banner stepped into a cramped elevator with eight other members of his position group on Friday afternoon, he assumed - like most would - that the uncomfortable conditions would endure for just a couple floors.Â
The unit - weighing over a ton - found itself stuck in the hot and confined space for over two hours, during which an offensive line Iliad of sorts unfolded.
And of course, there was completely impromptu rapping.
What started as a perfectly normal Friday afternoon team hangout soon became the "best accident ever" according to Banner who spent the rest of the weekend appearing on NPR, SportsCenter and more detailing the adventure. We're just happy they made it out okay.Â
