Oddly enough, several Trojan coaches are celebrating as if they won the Canadian Football League's Grey Cup.
Well, at least as if their good friend won it.
Marc Trestman, a former coworker of two USC coaches, led the Montreal Alouettes to the Grey Cup title with a wild 28-27 win over Calgary on Sunday night. Trestman worked alongside Coach Carroll for four seasons at two different NFL teams, including being offensive coordinator while Carroll was defensive coordinator at the 49ers in the mid-'90s. Trestman also coached alongside current USC offensive coordinator John Morton at the Oakland Raiders for three seasons earlier this decade.
