PHOENIX -- Today's game is a homecoming of sorts for three Trojans who grew up in the Grand Canyon State, two of whom attended schools within minutes of Sun Devil Stadium:

Defensive end Devon Kennard attended Desert Vista High in Phoenix.
Defensive end Everson Griffen attended Agua Fria High in Avondale, Ariz.
Center Kristofer O'Dowd attended Salpointe Catholic in Tucson.
