Taylor Mays has been selected as one of 30 candidates for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, which is given to a graduating player who excels both on and off the field.
Offensive lineman Jeff Byers, who was granted an extra year of eligibility late last season, was a finalist for the award in 2008.
