Today's scrimmage is obviously a good test for the players.
It's also an ideal trial for the coaches.
To make it as game-like as possible, coaches will be on headsets and split between the field and the roof of the adjacent baseball complex during the scrimmage, as if they were in the press box during a game. It'll provide them with a great dry run in terms of in-game communication, which can often get hectic.
