The season opener is just 11 days away, but USC's focus isn't on San Jose State.
It's all about Competition Tuesday for the Trojans.
"We're not going to talk about San Jose State much," Coach Carroll told the players in this afternoon's team meeting, reiterating a common theme for USC. "They're not the issue; we're the issue.
"The emphasis is about us competing and making us who we are on game day."
