Media and fans will fawn over the end-of-spring depth chart that will be released at Coach Carroll's press conference at noon today.
But it means next to nothing for the Trojan coaches and players. The first game is still more than four months away, and plenty can change between now and then.
"It's just a statement of where guys are right now," Carroll said of the depth chart. "There are a ton of dead heats and there's no reason to finalize the future right now. It's simply shows where the guys are at if we were playing a game today."
