Elijah Stewart joined the starting lineup against the Cardinal and, alongside Katin Reinhardt who came off the bench, accounted for nearly all of USC's offense in the first half. Reinhardt finished with a team-leading 12 points, Stewart finished with 10 and freshman Bennie Boatwright rounded out the double-digit scoring group with 11 points and five rebounds. Malik Martin tried to ignite a second-half spark off the bench, scoring a season-high 9 points in the game, but the Trojans couldn't get much going down the stretch on either side of the ball.
After losing four of its last five games, USC's postseason fate is becoming increasingly difficult to predict. With a lot on the line, the Trojans' final road game of the regular season will not be an easy one, as USC heads over to Berkeley to face Cal, undefeated at home this year, on Sunday at 5 p.m. PT. The game will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1.
