As a new NBA season begins, six Trojans will represent USC men's basketball in the Association this season, which is the fourth most for a Pac-12 program.
DeMar DeRozan, Raptors
The shooting guard dropped 25 points on opening night for the defending Atlantic Division champions. DeRozan has averaged 20+ points per game in back-to-back seasons, peaking in his 2013-14 All-Star campaign at 22.7 ppg.
Taj Gibson, Bulls
A proven winner, the former Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year has never missed the postseason during his NBA career. He finished second in the Sixth Man of the Year voting in 2013-14.
Nikola Vucevic, Magic
The seven-footer has been a stat-stuffer in his young NBA career, averaging a double in each of the last three seasons. He is coming off a career-best campaign in Orlando, posting 19.3 ppg and 10.9 rpg in 2014-15.
Nick Young, Lakers
"Swagy P" has the game to match his big personality. The explosive scorer has averaged double figures in six of his eight NBA seasons. He is expected to backup Kobe Bryant this year.
Â
Dewayne Dedmon, Magic
Dedmon has worked hard to gain a foothold in the NBA, putting up huge numbers in the NBDL to earn short stints in Golden State and Philadelphia before Orlando grabbed hold of him. He played 15 minutes in the season opener, totaling four points and six rebounds.
O.J. Mayo, Bucks
*Pursuant to the NCAA/COI report of 6/10/10, USC was directed to disassociate itself from O.J. Mayo.
