The Canadian sprinter put on a performance for the ages, winning the 100m in 9.75 (+2.7w), the second fastest time ever by a collegian. He then doubled down to blow away the field in the 200m, finishing in 19.58 (+2.4w), which is the fastest time ever run by a collegian.
De Grasse is the fourth Trojan to sweep the 100m and 200m dashes and the first since Clancy Edwards in 1978. He led USC to a fifth place finish as a team at the NCAA Championships.
