Scouting Report: Jacobs' biggest strength is his overall athleticism. Standing at 6-foot-3, he offers good height at the guard position and describes himself as a "pass-first" point guard. His focus is on developing his ability to be the facilitator and director of the offense by making good decisions and learning more under head coach Andy Enfield's system.
Prep Career: Named the Las Vegas Review Player of the Year in his senior season, Jacobs averaged 16.2 points per game and helped lead the Jaguars to a 27-3 record. He also averaged 6.9 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 3.2 steals.Â
Fall Camp: The Trojans have a young roster this season with 11 underclassmen working to get playing time come November. Jacobs will be competing with sophomore Chass Bryan and senior transfer Pe'Shon Howard for the starting point guard position. The freshman is focused on developing his decision making and his shot in the early weeks of fall training camp.Â
In his own words: "I love it. I wake up every day looking forward to practice. Being a freshman, I got really lucky with how everything worked out," said Jacobs.Â
