With Arizona winning the College World Series last night, the Pac-12 clinched its ninth NCAA team championship of the 2011-12 academic year, which is more than any other conference. The SEC finished second with eight.

USC contributed a pair of NCAA team titles thanks to 4-peats by men's water polo and men's tennis. Pac-12 teams also had eight runner-up finishes of which USC men's volleyball, women's golf and women's water polo contributed three.
The Pac-12 has boasted the most or tied for the most national championships by conference in 11 of the last 12 seasons.
