Prep Career - Woods (photo by John McGillen) was named an 2010 Under Armour All-American after a standout senior season playing on both the offensive and defensive lines.
Freshman Year - He spent most of his first season concentrating on losing weight. He has lost about 25 pounds and now put himself in position to compete for playing time as a redshirt freshman.
Woods on redshirting: "Redshirting allows you to learn a lot. I feel like I've been here for awhile even though it's just half a year and a summer. I'm able to play faster and learn faster."
