Trojan offensive tackle Tyron Smith was selected #9 overall by the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL Draft Thursday night.
He becomes the 75th first round pick in USC history, which is more than any other college.
Always underrated and understated, Smith was a pillar of the offensive line protecting Matt Barkley from his right tackle spot. He is expected to move to left tackle and cover Tony Romo's blind spot in Big D.
