Jurrell Casey, one of only two Trojans who declared early for the 2011 draft (the other being OT Tyron Smith), addressed the media today.
Although he expects to be taken anywhere in the late first round or early second round, he emphasized that he will compete for whomever, regardless of where he is taken.
So far he's spoken with the defensive line coaches from the Patriots, Chargers, Browns and Seahawks, but his official team interviews will take place tonight and tomorrow.
"I'm just staying focused," Casey said when I spoke to him after he left the podium. "I can't really do to much right now, so I'm just trying to stay in the zone and be ready to go."
He says his goal for the bench press is at least 27 reps and to hit a 40-yard dash time around 4.9 seconds.
