2020-21 SEASON: Ana Neffa begins her senior season at USC.
2019-20 SEASON: Ana Neffa had a late start of the season due to injury, but got into the action before the season was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic...Went 6-4 overall in singles and 2-2 in dual matches...Primarily played from the No. 4 (0-2) and No. 5 (2-0) positions...In doubles, went 7-3 overall and 2-1 in doubles...Primarily played with Constance Branstine (5-2) from the No. 2 position...Also partnered with Estella Jaeger (1-1) and Sydney Van Alphen (1-0)...In the fall, competed in the Malwaukee Classic, the ITA All-American Championships and the Women of Troy Invitational.
2018-19 SEASON: Ana Neffa finished her sophomore season with a 17-8 singles record and went 14-7 in dual matches…Played primarily from the No. 3 position (6-5)…Also played from No. 2 (0-2), No. 4 (6-0) and No. 5 (2-0)…Clinched two matches for the Women of Troy against Saint Mary’s and Arizona State…In doubles, went 4-2 overall and 1-2 in dual matches…Primarily played with partner Constance Branstine (4-0), but also played with Salma Ewing (0-2)…In the fall, placed second at the Battle in the Bay.
St. THOMAS UNIVERSITY (MIAMI): Neffa did not play tennis at St. Thomas University during her freshman year.
HIGH SCHOOL: Neffa had an ITF Junior ranking of #111 and a WTA ranking of #483 in the world…Earned multiple notable ITF tournament wins including over the #69 and #198 ranked players in the world.
PERSONAL: Ana Neffa was born on January 17, 1997…Daughter of Gustavo Neffa and Rossana De Los Rios…Mother was a professional tennis player from Paraguay and was the only female tennis representative for Paraguay in the 1992 and 2000 Olympics….Her father was a professional soccer player who played for multiple Paraguayan and Italian teams…Aspires to become a professional tennis player…Majoring in psychology.
