Gref, Gosselin-Paradis Qualify On Platform At NCAA Zone E Championships

Gosselin-Paradis secures his second event qualification for the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - On the second day of the NCAA Zone E Championships, two Trojans qualified for the platform diving event at the NCAA Championships.

Robert Gref punched a ticket to the NCAA Championships in Atlanta by finishing fifth in the platform finals. Gref posted a prelim score of 365.10 to advance and then concluded with a total score of 728.30.

Laurent Gosselin-Paradis qualified for his second event thanks to a sixth place finish in the platform event. Gosselin-Paradis racked up a score of 348.45 in prelims before scoring 715.60 total points.

Luc Goertzen competed in his second final of the week and finished seventh with a total score of 694.40.

On the women's 3-meter springboard, Jenna Jagielski finished 13th with a total score of 550.40.

Tomorrow will be the final day of the Zone E Championships with the men's divers competing on the 1-meter springboard and the women's on platform.
