Catherine Park Named Big Ten Co-Golfer of the Week
February 19, 2026 | Women's Golf
Park is the fifth Trojan to earn a weekly conference award this season.
ROSEMONT, Ill. — After notching her fifth-career collegiate tournament win, No. 2 USC women's golf senior Catherine Park was named the Big Ten Co-Golfer of the Week, as announced by the conference on Thursday, Feb. 19.
This is the second conference weekly award of Park's career and her first of the season. She is the fifth different Trojan to earn a Big Ten weekly award, joining Kylie Chong, Sarah Hammett, Jasmine Koo and Elise Lee.
Earlier this week, Park won the Alice and John Wallace Women's Golf Classic, held at the par-71, 6,108-yard Monterey Country Club Course in Palm Desert, Calif. After firing a 69 and a 68 in the first two rounds, Park capped off the tournament by firing a 6-under 65 in the final round to win the event with a 202 (-11). She was the only player in the 96-player field to have all three rounds in the 60s.
Her 202 is tied for the second-best round in program history and was one stroke shy of tying her school record of 201, which she set at the Stanford Intercollegiate last year. With the victory, Park moved into a tie for the second-most career wins in USC program history and just one win behind Annie Park's USC career-leading six wins.
Park's performance was one of many standouts for the Trojans, who won with a three-round score of 835 (-17) for the team's second tournament win of the season. Finishing 26 strokes ahead of the second-place team, USC's margin of victory was tied for the fourth-largest in program history.
Northwestern's Dianna Lee also won Big Ten Co-Golfer of the Week honors after winning the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational in Sarasota, Fla. on Monday. UCLA's Kacey Ly, who tied for fourth at the Alice and John Wallace Women's Golf Classic, was the Big Ten Freshman of the Week.
