No. 2 USC Women's Golf Heads to the Desert for the Alice and John Wallace Women's Golf Classic

LOS ANGELES — The No. 2 USC women's golf team heads to Palm Desert, Calif. for the Alice and John Wallace Women's Golf Classic, hosted by Long Beach State at Monterey Country Club from Feb. 14-16.
The tournament will be played over three days with one round taking place on each day at the par-71, 6,108-yard course. Each round begins with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. PT. A link to live scoring can be found on the women's golf team's schedule page on usctrojans.com.
COMPETITIVE SLATE: No. 2 USC, No. 10 Vanderbilt, No. 11 UCLA, Boise State, California, Denver, Eastern Michigan, Fresno State, Grand Canyon, Hawai'i, Long Beach State, New Mexico, Northern Arizona, San Jose State, UC Riverside and Washington.

The lone senior on the USC roster begins her final campaign this spring. A three-time All-American, Park has won four tournaments in her career, which is tied for the third-most in program history.
Park finished in a tie for 43rd at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge earlier this month. She was one of three Trojans to lower her score in each round, finishing with a 70 (-1) in the final round.
Kylie Chong
Another Trojan to lower her score in each round of the Therese Hession Regional Challenge, Chong moved up 20 places in the final round to finish in a tie for 23rd — her fifth top-25 finish and her fourth of the season. Three of her four rounds in the 60s have occurred this year.
Elise Lee
Sophomore Elise Lee was USC's second-highest finisher at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge, where she finished in a tie for 19th. The Northwestern transfer tied her season-low round with a 68 (-3) in the second round, which was also tied for the best round by a Trojan at the tournament. Lee is the only Trojan this year to finish in the top-25 in all five tournaments. Her stroke average of 70.88 leads the team.
Bailey Shoemaker
In her season debut at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge, Bailey Shoemaker led USC by tying for 12th place. The junior from Dade City, Fla. fired a 68 (-3) in the second round to tie the lowest round by a Trojan at the tournament. That score was tied for the third-lowest round of her collegiate career.
Jasmine Koo
The highest-ranked USC player in the Scoreboard rankings, Koo is looking to bounce back from a 63rd-place showing at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge. At that tournament, she shook off her first round by firing a 73 and 72 in the last two rounds. Her stroke average of 71.36 ranks second on the team.
Chloe Kim
Freshman Chloe Kim made her collegiate debut at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge earlier this month, where she finished in a tie for 68th place. She fired a 73 on the final day for her lowest collegiate round thus far.
Sarah Hammett
Sarah Hammett will make her spring season debut this weekend. The freshman from Gold Coast, Australia played in four tournaments last fall and had two top-25 finishes, with her best being a third-place finish at the curtailed East Lake Cup. She will compete as an individual this weekend.
