March 07, 2025 | Men's Tennis
The Trojans welcome the Boilermakers and the Hoosiers to Los Angeles for the first two matches of their inaugural season with the conference
LOS ANGELES – No. 33 USC men's tennis kicks off Big Ten play this weekend when it hosts back-to-back matches against No. 44 Purdue and No. 38 Indiana. The Trojans are set to take on the Boilermakers at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 8, and the Hoosiers at noon on Sunday, Mar. 9, at David X. Marks Tennis Stadium.
USC is 6-4 in the first half of the season, having gone on a three-game win streak before falling at No. 7 San Diego last weekend. Now, the Trojans will look to make their mark on their new conference as Big Ten play kicks off across the country.
No. 28 senior Peter Makk continues to shine for the Trojans, joined by freshman No. 112 Nathan Trouve in the national rankings. Neither Purdue nor Indiana has any ranked singles players, however, Indiana has one ranked doubles pairing in No. 9 Facundo Yunis and Jip Van Assendelft.
As conference play enters full swing, the Trojans will have a series of busy weekends ahead as they vie for their first Big Ten Conference title. To watch and follow along, click here.
