FULLERTON, Calif. – The USC baseball team fell on the road at Cal State Fullerton on Tuesday night, dropping an 11-6 decision to the Titans.
USC falls to to 9-7 overall on the season, while the Titans move to 5-11.
The Trojans scored four runs in the first inning and led into the seventh, but Fullerton scored six runs in the bottom half of the seventh inning to go ahead for good.
Ethan Hedges and Adrian Lopez each had three-hit days, with Hedges driving in two runs and scoring two. Lopez scored one run and drove in another. Dean Carpentier also had two hits and two RBI. Brodie Purcell tossed 2.0 scoreless relief innings, giving up one hit with four strikeouts.

The Trojans head to Michigan for another Big Ten series starting on Friday. All three games in Ann Arbor will be on B1G+.
