QUOTEABLES:
"We're finally getting into the middle part of our season. Spring is a longer than the fall, we work hard to peak around each and every tournament. In collegiate golf, you need to play well every week to insure progress toward the NCAA tournament," head coach Mark Hankins said. "We had some guys playing in individual tournaments and others in qualifying this past week, so we're well practiced. Like always, we need to adapt to the golf course that's given to us this week, bring a positive effort level and play tough all three rounds."
"I've been working on my game since our last tournament, as well as competing back home in a tournament," freshman Buchanan said. "I feel like things are heading in the right direction."
"I think we just need to get comfortable," Aurilia said. "Leading up to this event, we did a lot of good preparation as a team to help us compete this week."
"We've had some pretty good finishes this year," Safa said. "Looking at our last event, we just identified what went wrong, and chose to work to get better."
