USC Men’s Tennis Sends Four to USTA SoCal Intercollegiate Championships
October 08, 2025 | Men's Tennis
LOS ANGELES – Four Trojans are gearing up to represent USC men's tennis this weekend at the USTA SoCal Intercollegiate Championships, hosted by the University of San Diego from Oct. 9-12.
The Trojans will begin play on Thursday at 9 a.m. with the double's competition. The first round of singles play will follow shortly after.
Competing teams include San Diego, San Diego State, Grand Canyon and Utah State.
With just one tournament played this season for USC, the Trojans look to play some high-level tennis as sophomore Niels Hoffmann, graduate transfer Jack McCarthy and freshman Pablo Robledo Hoyos compete in their second tournament of the fall this weekend. Trojan sophomore Matteo Morazzi will make his season debut in San Diego, having rebounded from an injury in the season.
