June 06, 2024 | Track & Field
Jasmine Jones qualifies for both hurdles finals
Jasmine Jones qualified for two event finals and the Trojans earned five spots overall to Saturday's championship round during the second day of the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. today (June 6). To advance to a Saturday final in a running event, an individual or relay would need to finish in the top two of its heat or have one of the three next best times out of the three semifinal heats.
The Trojan women have not had an athlete compete in an event final yet at the championships, but the five advancing Trojans today, plus senior Temi Ojora in the triple jump give the USC women's team six scoring opportunities on Saturday.
