USC Rowing Launches Spring Racing at Closed LMU Scrimmage
February 08, 2024 | Women's Rowing
LOS ANGELES — USC women's rowing will race in a closed scrimmage against Loyola Marymount on Saturday morning (Feb. 10). This is the first race the Women of Troy in 2024. Race results will not be submitted as this is a closed scrimmage.Â
Â
The Trojans will compete in 6 events this spring: a dual against UCLA, a dual against Stanford, the San Diego Crew Classic, the Ivy League Invitation, the Dexter Lake Invite, and the Pac-12 Championship.Â
Â
In 2022-23, USC made its second of back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Championships and finished 16th with 42 points. Under sixth-year head coach Josh Adam, the Women of Troy claimed a fourth-place finish at the Pac-12 Championships and had junior Zoe McCutcheon named to the All-Conference Team. The Trojans swept crosstown rival UCLA in the annual rivalry dual to open the spring and improved to 20-1 all-time in head-to-head meetings with the Bruins. USC was ranked for much of the season in the Pocock CRCA Poll.
