USC’s Caroline Famous Named Pac-12 Swimmer of the Week

The Trojan senior claims back-to-back conference weekly honors.
LOS ANGELES – USC senior swimmer Caroline Famous earned her second consecutive Pac-12 Swimmer of the Week honor following a huge performance against crosstown rival UCLA.
The Trojan claimed two individual events, set one pool record, and helped USC to a relay win as the Trojans downed UCLA on Friday, Feb. 9 at the Spieker Aquatics Center.
Famous, who is coming off her first career Pac-12 Swimmer of the Week honor (Feb. 6), continued her winning ways as she claimed the 100y back in a pool record time of 51.82.
Contributing 22 individual points to the Trojans final score, Famous also won the 100y butterfly (51.93), was second in the 50y free (22.41) and helped USC to a win in the 200y medley relay.
