USC Women's Soccer Coaches Named North Region Staff of the year

LOS ANGELES – The United Soccer Coaches organization announced its regional staff of the year awards recently and the USC Women's Soccer coaches were named the North Region Staff of the Year.
Head Coach Jane Alukonis was assisted by Sugar Shinohara, Ahmad Brown and Megan Hinz (goalkeepers) this season, with the staff leading USC to a Big Ten title in the program's first year in the conference.
The conference title was the program's first ever outright conference championship and the first undefeated conference season in program history. USC's 10-0-1 Big Ten mark set a program record for conference wins and the Trojans' overall record of 18-1-4 (.870) marked the highest winning percentage in program history. USC finished the regular season ranked No. 4 in the country, earning the program's first ever No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament and making it to the Quarterfinals for the first time since 2019.
Alukonis also earned Big Ten Coach of the Year honors this season, becoming the first USC coach to earn a conference coach of the year award. In three years at USC, Alukonis owns a 41-9-10 overall record, leading the Trojans to the postseason all three seasons.
