No. 5 USC Women's Golf Set for Fifth Appearance at East Lake Cup in Fall Finale

The Trojans head down south to Atlanta to take on a four-team field featuring three semifinalists and one quarterfinalist from the 2024 NCAA Championship
LOS ANGELES - Coming off of a team title and first-place finish for freshman Jasmine Koo, the Trojans compete against four of the top teams from a year ago as they revisit the East Lake Cup starting Monday, Oct. 28, through Wednesday, Oct. 30, at East Lake G.C. in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Trojans are coming off three first-place individual performances in the past three tournaments; Catherine Park (Leadership and Golf Invitational) and Jasmine Koo (Windy City Collegiate Classic and Stanford Intercollegiate Tournament) took home the individual titles. USC also took home a share of the Stanford Intercollegiate team title on Oct. 20.
Competitive Slate (4): UCLA, LSU, Oregon, USC
Where: East Lake G.C. (Par 72 6,185 yards).
When: The three-day event will begin Monday, Oct. 28, at 7:30 a.m. PT/10:30 a.m. ET, with the first round featuring stroke play to determine an individual champion. Tuesday, Oct. 29, and Wednesday, Oct. 30, will be match play to determine a team champion and a consolation match to decide third place.Â

No. 4 Jasmine Koo
Freshman Jasmine Koo became the first USC freshman since Amari Avery (2021-22) to win back-to-back individual titles as she helped lead the Women of Troy to a share of the Stanford Intercollegiate team title. Koo earned her second-straight win after finishing 11-under during the three-round tournament. The freshman's title means that USC has now won three straight individual titles, the first time since Annie Park three-peated in 2012-13. Koo leads the team with a stroke average of 70.11 and has posted two top-10 finishes in three starts.
No. 21 Catherine Park
Junior Catherine Park tied the USC record for a single round, posting a 63 (-8) in the final round at the Stanford Intercollegiate. The junior entered the final round trailing by six strokes and made it her mission to overcome that initial deficit. Park claimed eight birdies, one eagle, and two bogeys during the round and finished as the individual runner-up. Park is second on the team with a 71.67 stroke average and leads the team with two Eagles; the junior has two top-ten finishes this season.Â
No. 51 Bailey Shoemaker
Sophomore Bailey Shoemaker finished even-par for the tournament as she was two-over par for the day. Shoemaker picked up her tenth career top-25 finish at the Stanford Intercollegiate, ultimately having tied for 19th. Shoemaker posted her first round in the 60s (69, -2) at the Stanford Intercollegiate and has a stroke average of 72.Â
No. 347 Xin (Cindy) Kou
Senior Xin (Cindy) Kou posted a 70 (-1) as she finished the Stanford Intercollegiate tied for 51st at nine-over par. Kou makes this start after tying for second at the end of stroke play at last year's East Lake Cup (71, -1). The senior has one top-25 finish this season and has a stroke average of 75.11
No. 399 Kylie Chong
Freshman Kylie Chong tied for 60th as she was 10-over par overall at Stanford Intercollegiate. The freshman is making her East Lake Cup debut and has been a starter in all three contests for the women of Troy. Chong has a stroke average of 75.78 in those tournaments.Â
