USC’s Anicka Delgado Named Pac-12 Swimmer of the Week

LOS ANGELES – This marks Delgado's first career Pac-12 Women's Swimmer of the Week award and the fourth total Pac-12 accolade this season for the Trojans.
Against UNLV, the senior won a pair of individual events and swam on a championship relay to help USC to a 168-89 sweep over the Rebels. With the win USC improved to 3-0.
Delgado secured first place finishes in the 50y free (23.35) and 100y fly (55.14) and went on to swim a 23.55 split in the USC winning 200 Free relay (1:33.73). The senior also helped USC pick up a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay, swimming a 23.87 50y fly split to take second (1:42.17).
USC is back in action at home this weekend as Trojans host Utah (women) and UC San Diego (women and men) for a Friday 2 p.m. dual at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
