No. 4 Women's Golf Drops Spring Season Opener to No. 12 Texas A&M 4-2

The Trojans dropped four of their six matches in the 6v6 format
RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. - No.4Â USC women's golf hosted its first event of the spring season as it dropped the opening dual against No. 12 Texas A&M 4-2 on Saturday, Jan. 13 at the Farms Golf Cub in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.Â

The Women of Troy ran back their final matchup of the fall season as they bested the Aggies previously, 3-2, in the third-place game of the East Lake Cup on Nov. 1, 2023. USC would have no such luck in the second-straight dual, as it eventually fell 4-2. The two wins that the Women of Troy were able to garner were from senior Christine Wang and sophomore Catherine Park. Park dominated her side of things, as she won 5&4. This is the sophomore's second win against the Aggies this season, as she won 4&3 previously. Wang also stamped her point for the Trojans with a 3&2 victory. Wang previously did not play in the fall version of the matchup, as the first event was a 5v5 format compared to this times 6v6 format.Â
