USC Swimming's Kaitlyn Dobler Named to 2023-24 USA Swimming National Team Roster

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – USC NCAA Champion breaststroker Kaitlyn Dobler was named to the 2023-24 U.S. Swimming National Team, as announced by USA Swimming on Tuesday, Sept. 12.

"The 2023-24 National Team roster truly showcases the depth of American swimming," USA Swimming National Team Managing Director and USC swimming alumna Lindsay Mintenko said. "A young group of emerging swimmers will learn from veteran leaders as the athletes prepare for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials-Swimming and the Olympic Games next summer."

The U.S. National Team is comprised of the six (6) athletes with the fastest times in each Individual Olympic Event, from the combined results of a USA Swimming sanctioned competition, an AQUA approved competition, or an international competition between January 1, 2023 through September 9, 2023 to which USA Swimming sent a team. Dobler, the 2022 NCAA 100y breaststroke champion is a four-time CSCAA First Team All-American and a CSCAA Scholar American. This season, Dobler swept the breaststroke events at the Pac-12 Championships, winning her fourth and fifth conference crowns. A 2022 Phillips 66 National Champion (100m breast), Dobler's dominance spans from short course to long course.

Most recently, Dobler won two silver medals at the LEN U23 Championships (50m breast, 100m breast). The Portland native is qualified to represent team USA in both the 100m and 200m breaststroke.
