USC Women's Golf's Christine Wang Named WGCA All-American Scholar

The junior USC golfer is among 1,400 women's collegiate athletes to have earned the prestigious honor
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - USC women's golf junior Christine Wang (Houston, Texas/St. John's School) was named to the 2022-23 WGCA All-American Scholar Team on Thursday, July 6. She is among 1,401 women's collegiate golfers from 378 programs recognized with this prestigious honor.
In order to be selected for All-American Scholar status, a student-athlete must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season, and have played in 50 percent of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.
Wang played in 12 tourneys this season (35 rounds) and had a stroke average of 74.49 with a 66-stroke low at the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational (March 6-7). She shot a -4 at the Pac-12 Championship to help the Women of Troy claim the 2023 title; the program's eighth Pac-12 title and ninth conference championship overall.
