USC Baseball to Face Long Beach State at Angel Stadium on May 2

LOS ANGELES – The USC baseball team's midweek matchup against Long Beach State will be played at Angel Stadium on May 2. The news was announced in collaboration between the two programs on Thursday (April 6).

The Trojans and Dirtbags will play in Anaheim with USC serving as the dedicated home team. First pitch for the Tuesday night matchup will be at 6 p.m.

This will be the 134th time the two programs will face each other in program history, but just the fourth time they will be on a neutral field. The other three neutral site games were at the 1995 NCAA Regional hosted by Fresno State.

The Trojans have had a semi-regular game at Dodgers Stadium over the years, but this will be the first time USC has played at Angel Stadium since 2003, when the Trojans faced Cal State Fullerton for a midweek matchup in Anaheim.
