Temi Ojora wins her second event of the weekend

Temi Ojora won the women's triple jump, Samirah Mody was second in the women's 100m, Tade Ojora was second in the men's 110m hurdles and the women's 4x400m relay took second to lead the Trojans' effort at the Florida Relays held at Percy Beard Track and James G. Pressly Stadium in Gainesville, Fla. today (April 1).

Temi Ojora won the women's triple jump with a season-best jump of 44-0.75/13.43m (+0.0), one day after winning the long jump. Dominique Ruotolo finished fourth with a season-best leap of 43-6.50/13.27m (+0.0). That jump moved Ruotolo into sixth on USC's all-time outdoor triple jump list.
Samirah Moody was second in the women's 100m dash with a wind-aided PR of 10.99 (+4.1w). Jassani Carter had a time of 11.42 (+4.1w) to finish seventh.
Tade Ojora was the top collegian and second overall with a wind-aided time of 13.35 (+3.0w) in the men's 110m hurdles. Johnny Brackins Jr. placed eighth with a time of 13.59 (+3.0w). Ojora advanced out of the prelims with a time of 13.82 (+0.0) and Brackins Jr. had a time of 13.70 (+1.2).
The women's 4x400m relay team of Bailey Lear, Carter, Caisja Chandler and Yemi John took second in the Tom Jones college relay with a season-best time of 3:32.16, more than five seconds faster than the previous best relay time this season.
Allie Jones placed third in the women's 100m hurdles final with a PR of 13.11 (+1.8) and Jalaysiya Smith was fifth with a season-best time of 13.14 (+1.8). Smith had a time of 13.19 (+1.6) and Jones 13.23 (+1.6) in the prelims.
The women's 4x100m relay team of Jan'Taijah Jones, Chandler, Carter and Moody had a season-best time of 44.37 to finish fourth.
The men's 4x400m relay team of Ashton Allen, William Jones, Michael Phillippy and Chris Borzor placed fourth in the Jimmy Carnes college relay with a season-best time of 3:04.97.
Lear placed fourth in the women's 400m with a season-best time of 51.69. Lear's time was her best since the 2021 NCAA Championship final. Yemi John finished sixth in the 400m with a time of 52.42, best among the freshmen in the event.
Bobby Poynter placed fifth in the men's 800m race with a time of 1:48.62. He was third among collegians and just behind USC 800m record-holder Isaiah Jewett, who placed fourth a time of 1:48.55.
Gigi Maccagnini placed 14th in the women's 800m race, 12th among collegians, with a collegiate-best time of 2:06.44.
Summer Mosley had a mark of 150-8 (45.92m) to finish seventh in the women's discus throw.
Alumni Aaron Brown and Andre De Grasse ran on Athletics Canada's winning 4x100m relay team in the Olympic Development race which won with a world-leading time of 37.80.
Alumnus Rai Benjamin won the men's Olympic Development 400m race with a meet-record time of 44.94.
