Sophomore Xin (Cindy) Kou, who tied for sixth last week at the ICON Invitational for her second top 6 finish in a row, was named the Pac-12 Women's Golfer of the Week.
She is the first women's player outside of Stanford to win a monthly or weekly award this season.
Kou, who missed USC's tournament this week as she preps for the Women's Amateur Asia Pacific that starts Thursday in Singapore, tied for sixth in Houston last week at 10-under 206 (65-70-71), her first round a collegiate career best.
It was her third top-10 finish of the season and the eighth of her career, which included a tie for third at last year's ICON Invitational.
This is her first Pac-12 Weekly honor.
