USC Diving’s Laurent Gosselin Paradis Wins Pac-12 1-Meter Title

Freshman Laurent Gosselin Paradis won the men's 1-meter event as he led USC during the first day of postseason action at the Pac-12 Swimming and Diving Championships in Federal Way, Wash.
In the diving well, USC was well represented as Gosselin picked up USC's 13th all-time men's 1-meter title, collecting 354.80 points. With the win, the freshman also won his first conference crown and the Trojans first of the 2023 season.
Joining Gosselin in the finals was George Korovin (sixth – 319.95) and Robert Gref (eighth - 279.85).
Competing in the first ever diving team event at Pac-12's, USC's Lina Sculti, Maddie Huitt and Nike Agunbiade recorded a win with 333.10 points.
The Women of Troy kicked off the swimming portion of Pac-12's with a trip to the podium in the 200y medley relay. The USC quartet of Aria Bernal, Kaitlyn Dobler, Anicka Delgado and Elise Garcia combined for a 1:35.63; .23 seconds separated first (Cal) from third.
Later in the evening, USC posted a fourth place finish as Justina Kozan, Anicka Delgado, Isabelle Odgers and Marlene Kahler clocked a 7:06.03 in the 800y free relay.
Action continues tomorrow with swimming prelims scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m.
