USC Men’s Diving Travels North for Pac-12 Championships

The USC men's diving squad, led by 24th year head coach Hongping Li, will make the trip north for the Pac-12 Men's Diving Championships at the Weyerhauser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Washington, Wednesday (Feb. 22) through Friday (Feb. 24).
The Trojan diving contingent is one of the strongest in the Pac-12, led by senior All-American George Korovin and sophomore Shangfei Wang. Korovin, the 2022 Pac-12 platform diving champion looks to win another conference crown this year.
Points scored at this week's diving championships will be added to the men's swimming championship points next week to determine the overall team champion.

TOP QUALIFIERS:
Divers George Korovin and Laurent Gosselin-Paradis are qualified for the Zone E Diving Championships on all three specialties, while Shangfei Wang (1-meter, 3-meter) and Robert Gref (platform) also have qualifying scores in one or more events.
Pac-12 NOTES
USC has won 35 total Pac-12 men's diving titles, with many coming under the tutelage of longtime Trojan head diving coach Hongping Li.
Last season, junior George Korovin captured his first ever conference crown, winning on platform with 373.95 points (finals). He was also sixth on both 1-meter and 3-meter.
