USC Men's Tennis Posts a Clean Sweep at the SoCal Intercollegiate

LOS ANGELES - USC men's tennis dominated the SoCal Intercollegiate, as the Trojans swept the accolades with a singles title from senior Lodewijk Weststrate and a doubles title from the duo of graduate student Samuel Rubell and senior Niroop Vallabhaneni on Sunday, Oct. 29 at David X. Marks Tennis Stadium.

USC controlled most of its destiny in its first appearance at home during the fall season. Two Trojans made their way to the singles final (Weststrate and junior Karl Lee), and the doubles team of Rubell and Vallabhaneni seemed to have no trouble on their way to a championship berth. The dynamic duo that made their way to the championship was the first time these two teamed up.

Altogether, the Trojans came away from the weekend with 12 main draw singles victories and four main draw doubles victories.
