USC Swimming Downs UC San Diego, Denver at Home

Trojan divers shine at Bruin Diving Invitational.
A rainy day in Los Angeles didn't stop the No. 10 USC women's and No. 20 USC men's swim teams from defeating UC San Diego and Denver (men) on Saturday, Jan. 14 at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
With a 144-108 win over UC San Diego, the Women of Troy improve to 5-0 on the season. Troy defeated UC San Diego 175-87 and Denver 171-91 to improve to 4-1.
The Women of Troy swept the Tritons, winning all 14 events as Trojans Isabelle Odgers, Marlene Kahler, Aela Janvier and Justina Kozan each won a pair of individual events.
On the men's side, Harry Homans led Troy with three individual event wins (100y fly, 200y fly and 400y IM) and an appearance in USC's winning 400y medley relay.

RELAY POWER:
It was all USC from start to finish as the Trojans opened and closed the meet with wins in both the 400y medley relay and 200y free relay.
BRUIN DIVING INVITATIONAL:
The USC diving squad was also in action on Saturday, with Trojans claiming both events at the crosstown UCLA Invite. Freshman Laurent Paradis-Gosselin captured the men's 3-meter competition, tallying 804.20 total points en route to victory. Sophomore Shangfei Wang finished the day third on springboard with 783.30.
Trojan divers Nike Agunbiade (633.70) and Maddie Huitt (533.20) finished first and second, respectively on women's platform. Sophomore Grace Lee finished third with 492.95.
Yesterday, USC's Lina Sculti (655.40) captured the women's 3-meter event while Trojan Shangfei Wang (765.95) handled business on and men's 1-meter.
Tomorrow action concludes at the Bruin Diving Invitational, with women's 1-meter and men's platform prelims set to begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Spieker Aquatics Center.
