USC Football Partners With One Tree Planted On Reforestation Campaign

USC Athletics has partnered with One Tree Planted to develop a reforestation campaign for the USC Trojans football team during the 2022-23 university year.

One Tree Planted is a global restoration project developer that oversaw the planting of approximately 30 million trees in 2021. Planting trees is intended to give back to the environment, create a healthier climate and protect biodiversity around the world.

During the 2022 USC football season, USC and OTP will work together to plant six trees for every USC touchdown, and one more for each USC extra point.

Since USC has scored 14 touchdowns and 14 extra points through its first two games this season, we've pledged to plant 98 trees so far.

The first ceremonial tree has already been planted within the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
