USC Community Superhero of the Game: Donald Hurst
September 12, 2022 | Trojan Outreach
On Saturday, Sept. 3, at USC football's season opener, USC dubbed Donald Hurst the Community Superhero of the Game.
Hurst serves as a group facilitator for the Friends Outside Los Angeles Dads Back Academy. This program helps teach formerly incarcerated men parenting and relationship skills, economic skills and more in order to help them become the best fathers they can be.
Hurst was brought to tears by the honor, noting that working for a non-profit can often be a thankless job.
